Jennifer is responsible for all aspects of the financial and operations functions of the Center for Disaster Philanthropy as its chief financial officer. As part of this oversight, Jennifer manages contracts, financial due diligence for grantmaking, audit and tax compliance, human resources, information technology and regulatory requirements. In addition, Jennifer supports the board and senior leadership with her financial expertise to help CDP implement its programs in furtherance of the mission. 

Prior to joining CDP, Jennifer spent more than 20 years in the for-profit sector. Most recently, Jennifer was the founding partner and managing director of a clinical research site that conducts clinical trials on behalf of pharmaceutical companies. Previously, Jennifer was the chief financial officer and controller of two investment management firms specializing in private equity and hedge funds of funds. Jennifer began her career in the audit division of Arthur Andersen with a focus on serving real estate and hospitality clients.  

She is currently vice president on the board of the Windgate of Arlington, Village II Condominium Association and has served on the board for six years including three years as the president. 

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, summa cum laude, from The College of William & Mary. She is a CPA and a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs.
