Support the Midwest Early Recovery Fund

CDP’s Midwest Early Recovery Fund fills a persistent gap in post-disaster funding for rural midwestern communities. This fund has awarded more than 130 grants to over 90 unique organizations that lead recovery efforts like those for floods, derechos, tornadoes, wildfires and other disaster events that rural communities are particularly vulnerable to.

CDP has made the commitment to award 25% of grants from the Midwest Early Recovery Fund to Native-led/Native-serving organizations to minimize the impact of disasters in Native communities. These communities are disproportionately affected by weather and climate-related disasters.

Your gift supports local place-based funders, allowing for collaboration and leveraging philanthropy to help those recovering from disasters in the Midwest.

Thank you for helping midwestern communities recover!
