Adrian Greer brings more than 10 years of experience working in the nonprofit world and a passion for communications and marketing to his current role as marketing and communications manager at the Center for Disaster Philanthropy.
In his current role with CDP, Adrian works to boost brand awareness and cultivate the organization’s online community. His focus is to develop social media strategies and plans, and to implement and track social media campaigns. He also handles promotion and registration for webinars and leveraging speaking engagements.
Adrian spent five years as a key strategist for the Arthritis Foundation’s national social media account, creating and managing multiple social promotions for national events and campaigns like the Walk to Cure Arthritis and Jingle Bell Run. He also has worked with companies that serve nonprofits, such as BellAge and Giveffect.
Adrian attended Appalachian State University and has a bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism.
Outside of work, Adrian loves to spend time with his wife, Kristen, and two kids, Jude and Vaughn. He enjoys basketball, both casually playing as a fan. He also enjoys movies and playing with his two dogs, Nezuko and Zelda.
