In his current role as a Senior Manager for Sustainability at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Travis Campbell leads sustainability engagement programs with colleagues and customers to build capacity and accelerate progress toward shared goals. This effort is critical to Thermo Fisher’s mission, which is to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
Previously, Travis directed the External Research Office at AMD, which provides resource support to universities and institutions to accelerate technological innovation and science in the public interest. In that role, Travis led the $31 million High Performance Compute Fund that distributed leading-edge technology to 25 organizations across the globe to further social impact research.
After spending almost 20 years in corporate responsibility strategy and public affairs roles at leading multinational corporations, Travis understands how to protect and invest in a brand’s reputation. Travis was recognized as a Top 100 Corporate Social Responsibility Influence Leader by Assent Compliance in their inaugural list. Travis earned his M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University, M.L.A. in Social Change and Western Culture from the University of Richmond and B.S. in Business Management from Virginia Tech.
