CDP is committed to supporting the equitable recovery of communities affected by disasters through our grantmaking.

In 2022, we partnered with the Center for Effective Philanthropy to launch our first Grantee Perception Report (GPR). We sought honest feedback from nearly 300 grantee partners to help us answer a critical question: How can we be a better funder?

That initial report marked the beginning of an intentional journey. Since then, CDP has taken the feedback to heart and continued to grow, and that progress is reflected in the 2024 GPR. We invest in this process because we are committed to putting our values into practice by listening to and learning from grantee partners, striving to be more equitable in our grantmaking, demonstrating our credibility to donors and the philanthropic community, and celebrating the successes and growth of our work.
