Development Database Associate

Caleb Ductant is a development database associate at the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, where he ensures that CDP’s donor and partner data is managed effectively, strengthening the foundation for strategic fundraising, improved donor relationships and greater impact in achieving our mission. Drawing on prior experience in writing, communications and data management, Caleb maintains high standards of data integrity, strengthens data health across systems and supports the database manager and development team. 

Caleb is the son of two immigrants and a first-generation college graduate. Born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and raised in Augusta, Georgia, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Auburn University, building a strong foundation in political theory and international relations. 

Previously, Caleb served as a project director at Cherokee Focus in Holly Springs, Georgia, where he used data-driven metrics to raise awareness and reduce opioid use among youth in Cherokee County. He translated complex data into clear, accessible formats, prepared board reports and supported grant reporting for government organizations. Caleb built relationships and fostered community engagement while closely collaborating with community leaders on events supporting drug prevention efforts. 

Caleb also spent time at Clark Atlanta University as a member of the Ujamaa Society, contributing to the political science community and reinforcing his commitment to collaboration and learning. Additionally, he worked as a communications fellow for the Georgia House Democratic Caucus and as a voter protection team fellow at Fair Fight Action, developing legislative talking points, analyzing state bills and managing large databases. 

An empathetic and effective communicator, Caleb combines data expertise with a strong commitment to community engagement. He currently lives in Atlanta with his partner, Emily, and their two dogs, Georgie and Gus.
