Leila Sukee
Development Associate, Donor Engagement
Leila Sukee is a development associate of donor engagement at the Center for Disaster Philanthropy, where she supports donor stewardship and stakeholder engagement efforts. In her role, Leila coordinates grant reporting and gift implementation to ensure accurate, timely and effective data management.
Prior to joining CDP, Leila deepened her expertise in international development at BRAC USA where she helped secure multi-million-dollar partnerships with corporate and foundation donors to support climate adaptation, economic inclusion and humanitarian response programs across Asia and Africa. Leila is dedicated to advancing equitable access to opportunities and supporting communities most affected by crises.
Leila began her career with internships at the Clinton Foundation, supporting the Climate Resilience team in securing strategic partnerships for the 2022 CGI Annual Meeting. She also interned at the United Nations Foundation, coordinating workshops, events and external engagement with youth advocates and global clubs for the Girl Up Initiative. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in international relations from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
