Partner Connect
Partner Connect is a service CDP offers to funders that consists of timely, expertly curated lists of nonprofit organizations responding to natural hazard disasters and complex humanitarian emergencies (CHEs).
Our Partner Connect due diligence process, paired with our in-depth knowledge of disaster recovery, results in expert guidance on where to give amid and after a disaster.
Partner Connect serves to inform effective disaster giving by raising awareness and directing donations to responding organizations. Our process includes reviewing each organization’s mission, programs, governance structure and financial stability.

Nonprofit organizations
If you are a nonprofit organization interested in being included in CDP Partner Connect lists, please note that your organization must:
- Be a 501(c)(3) organization in good financial standing.
- Organizations without 501(c)(3) status may apply through an eligible fiscal sponsor.
- Have a disaster preparedness, response, resilience, or recovery focus or serve as a humanitarian organization.
- Due diligence will be undertaken only for disaster response/recovery or humanitarian organizations that CDP believes could be recommended multiple times to funders. It is rare for us to include organizations that do not have an ongoing focus on disasters or complex humanitarian emergencies (CHEs).
Next steps to be considered for inclusion in CDP Partner Connect lists:

- A brief summary of the disaster or CHE services your organization has provided in the last 2 years. (For disaster services, please indicate if they are preparedness, response, recovery or resilience services)
- Indicate if you are a US-local, US-state, US (national), international or multinational serving organization.
- Your organization’s primary contact (email and phone number) to follow up with any questions related to our due diligence efforts.
Our team will review your materials and respond within 30 days. If it is determined that your organization qualifies, we will advise on the additional steps required for due diligence.
