COVID-19: Managing a Global Response

Cases of the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in 213 countries and regions across six continents. Presented with generous support from the UPS Foundation, the sixth COVID-19 Series webinar explored the unique aspects of response and recovery for a worldwide pandemic, with a focus on international grantmaking to support communities in developing nations. Topics included 1) the balance of funding locally, nationally and internationally with the related challenges and opportunities each approach presents, 2) localization and the importance of grassroots funding and 3) the implications of supporting healthcare workers, both in the U.S. and abroad.
