Announcing the Ted Lasso Cookie Raffle fundraiser

Join us to celebrate season three of Ted Lasso with a cookie raffle fundraiser benefiting the Center for Disaster Philanthropy. CDP has partnered with Sarmie Sisters Sweets – as seen on Food Network Christmas Cookie Challenge – to bring this cookie raffle to life.

Dr. Priscilla Sarmiento-Gupana is a baker, pediatrician and mother of two. As the co-founder of Sarmie Sisters Sweets and a very talented cookie artist, Dr. Sarmiento-Gupana’s impact is not only felt by her patients and children but also by health care heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through baking, she found a way to honor healthcare workers on the frontlines during COVID-19, creating the “Health Hero” cookie series, which featured detailed images of those leading pandemic response efforts and saving lives in Illinois and the country.

Be curious, not judgmental: Cookies for a cause

Now, Dr. Sarmiento-Gupana has joined CDP to create Ted Lasso-themed cookies to be shipped to seven winners of our Ted Lasso cookie raffle.

“Much of the work I do, be it in my professional life or through my cookie art, is focused on serving others and bringing awareness to communities in need,” said Sarmiento-Gupana. “CDP is uniquely positioned to provide help directly where it is needed, when it is needed, and I am very proud to be collaborating with this incredible organization.”

Funds raised will support equitable medium- to long-term recovery of communities affected by disasters worldwide.

The Ted Lasso cookie raffle runs from March 14, 2023 to April 25, 2023. You can purchase entries for a chance to win. Seven winners will be randomly drawn on April 26, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. ET, the day after episode six of season three drops. This allows us to announce the winners and for Sarmie Sisters to ship the cookies to the lucky participants in time for their season finale parties.

The raffle prizes are:

• Nate Makes His Choice (Prize 1): One winner will receive two dozen Ted Lasso-themed cookies.
• A Team Plus One (Prize 2): One winner will receive a dozen Ted Lasso-themed cookies.
• “BELIEVE” The Lasso Way (Prize 3): Five winners will receive 10 “BELIEVE” sign cookies.
