Ted Lasso Cookie Raffle: Where art, sports and philanthropy combine

Last month, timed with the premiere of the latest season of the hit show Ted Lasso, CDP was fortunate to partner with Dr. Priscilla Sarmiento-Gupana of Sarmie Sisters Sweets for our Ted Lasso Cookie Raffle. Priscilla is a baker, pediatrician and mother of two who has been featured on the Food Network’s Christmas Cookie Challenge and whose talents brought this exciting fundraiser to life.

Over the past six weeks, Priscilla’s beautifully decorated Ted Lasso-themed cookies inspired others to engage with and promote CDP’s work. Actors from the show, like Cristo Fernández, Anthony Stewart Head, Kola Bokinni and Annette Badland; musicians, including Pearl Jam and Midlake; athletes, like Rex Chapman and Jimmy Conrad; and other actors, including Yvette Nicole Brown and Patton Oswalt, helped us spread the word about the raffle and the overarching theme of supporting disaster recovery. We thank you all!
