Building a Network of Hope
A Midwest Early Recovery Fund grant increased the capacity of Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri (CCCNMO) to be an active responder for disasters in central Missouri. CCCNMO now participates in Multi-Agency Resource Centers (MARCs) that bring multiple service providers together in a central location to efficiently deliver services to individuals and families affected by disasters.
Through the MARC picture above, CCCNMMO made early contact with a significant number of households and provided them the assistance they needed to begin the long road towards recovery. In addition, CCCNMO staff have connected with other service providers from throughout the region to build the network of recovery efforts that are necessary to best serve those in need.
