Many Hands for Community Recovery
With funding from a Midwest Early Recovery Fund grant, All Hands Volunteers and the Arkansas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster coordinated a Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) that organized volunteer groups to support recovery after the 2017 floods in Arkansas.
Above, volunteers from Arkansas United Methodist Disaster Response and Headwaters Relief Organization worked together on May 13, 2017, to remove flood-damaged materials from a home in northeast Arkansas.
