Safe and Sound
This home may look fine from the outside, but unfortunately, the inside tells a different story. Flooding has pushed in the basement wall of the home, making its future unclear. The disabled gentlemen who owns the house is currently living in a rental while he waits to hear if he’ll be able to move back home anytime soon. Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership is working with Lutheran Social Services and Minnesota Housing to determine if the home is structurally safe and can be saved.
Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership received a grant from the Midwest Early Recovery Fund to support their work including outreach services for floods in Minnesota.
