Something Wonderful Happened In Missouri

An incredibly upbeat and positive force, 84-year-old Rosemary Lumsden wasn’t about to let a flood get her down. On April 29, 2017, her home in Van Buren, Missouri, was inundated with flood waters. With a grant from the Midwest Early Recovery Fund, All Hands Volunteers helped Rosemary clean out all her water damaged materials and organize her belongings. The teams had to take down drywall up to the ceilings and in addition sanitized her home for mold. And Rosemary worked alongside our crews everyday until her home was completed.
