Supporting a Pillar of the Community
The tornado survivor that lives in this house is a pillar of the community who is regularly and selflessly giving his time, talents and resources to help others. After a tornado damaged his home, Greenwood County LTRC and United Way of the Flint Hills were glad to be able to help his family in their time of need. United Way of the Flint Hills received a grant from the Midwest Early Recovery Fund to support reconstruction management and volunteer coordination in response to a tornado in Kansas.
