Unmet Needs Remain
Three months after an EF-3 tornado hit Middletown, Iowa, devastation and unmet needs are still evident throughout the town. Members of the Disaster Leadership Team recently met with Community Leaders of the Marshalltown Long Term Family Recovery Committee to discuss how best to support recovery moving forward. The Disaster Leadership Team received a grant from the Midwest Early Recovery Fund to support education and trainings for long-term recovery and post-disaster community development in response to tornadoes in Iowa.
