As the development associate, Nevean Dekaidek supports the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s development team in several ways including grant reporting, research and stewardship.
Nevean holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a functional focus in International Systems and World Order and a regional focus on Africa and the Middle East from Boston University. Prior to joining CDP, Nevean supported development at several organizations with varying missions and sizes. She has also spent time volunteering for local organizations in Amman, Jordan.
Nevean spends time between the U.S. and Middle East. She is currently based in Massachusetts, where you can find her going on hikes, baking and hanging out with her cat, Sushi.
